Introducing UP1 Gallery Panels
Our fall product launch includes a brand-new item to Sunon’s global portfolio: gallery panels.
Part of our UP1 line, they’re a modern alternative to cubicles: space division with a more contemporary silhouette.
Deconstructing the system(s furniture)
Despite their less-than-stellar rep, cubicles remain a popular choice. Workers value the space division and privacy they provide, even as they may joke about how they look.
Cubicle design has evolved, of course, but gallery panels marry the benefits of cubicles with an aesthetic that’s lighter, more versatile, and more textural.
Multipurpose
The versatility of gallery panels are a big selling point. Our UP1 Gallery Panels are available in eight sizes, for a variety of uses. Attach them to the end of a bench to screen workers from passers-by. Build a screen around a collaborative or touchdown area. Or enclose table legs for a more refined look.
Instead of a sea of same-height workstations, you can create a pleasing array of settings, with varying partition heights and work zones. Our new gallery panel collection includes eight sizes that can attach to UP1 height-adjustable desks, or to our Mall desk and table collection or Surflex panel system.
Textural
Another advantage of gallery panels: They blend well with the “resimercial” look popular among workplaces post-pandemic. UP1 Gallery Panels are available in five wood-grain finishes for a warm, home-like appearance.
Space-maximizing
After 20 years of shrinking workspaces (pre-pandemic designs promoted office densities of 75 to 150 square feet per person, vs. the 325 square feet employees averaged in 2000), the trend is now reversing.
Because gallery panels are only 1-inch thick, vs. the standard 3-inch thickness of panel walls, they make workspaces feel more roomy, even when they occupy the same footprint.
